About Shadowbrook Manor

Shadowbrook is a 27‐room red brick mansion on 10 heavily wooded acres overlooking the Hudson River in Irvington, NY. “The Voice”, Jazz legend, Mr. Stan Getz gave the castle‐like structure with its neoclassic music room to himself and his Swedish‐born wife, Monica, in 1966. A house resounding with what Henry James liked to call “the incomparable tone of time,” it has since resounded with the impeccable tone of Mr. Getz’s saxophone.

This beautiful property is available for photo-shoots, film-shoots and events of all kinds – including weddings. 

The Rotunda, or “Music Room”, where legendary tenor saxophonist, “The Voice”, Stan Getz practiced daily, and into the night.
